Use the Tor Browser To Stay Safe Online¶
Launched in 2002, Tor is trusted by millions globally, including journalists and activists. Relying on a modified Firefox ESR version, the Tor Browser routes traffic through a global network of computers – called relays – encrypting everything. With no records kept, the traffic’s origin, destination, and content remain unknown. Only the exit node's IP address is visible to visited websites.

Can Tor be traced?¶
While Tor offers many advantages, some drawbacks exist. Browsing speed may lag, and major websites might block Tor users. Legal issues can arise in some countries, where Tor may be restricted. Also, despite Tor or VPN use, true anonymity and security aren't guaranteed; potential risks persist, such as man-in-the-middle attacks. Stay aware.
